Hsinchu, Taiwan – November 30, 2023 – Mr. Narutaka Ito, Mayor of Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, where United Semiconductor Japan Co., Ltd. (“USJC”) has its manufacturing plant, visited the headquarters of United Microelectronics Corporation (NYSE: UMC; TWSE: 2303) (“UMC”), the parent company of USJC.
UMC’s Co-President Jason Wang expressed his gratitude to Kuwana City for providing many kinds of support to USJC.
USJC will continue to promote efforts to revitalize the local community of Kuwana City based on the deep trust between the city and USJC.
