USJC Completes Installation of Solar Power System at Mie Plant
USJC has completed the installation of solar panels on the rooftops of two water treatment facilites at Mie Plant and started operation on October 1, 2020.
The total panel capacity is 813kW, which is expected to generate about 814 MWh of electricity annually, equivalent to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 370 tons of CO2.
USJC will continue taking steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
