On October 28, 2025, third-grade students and their teachers from Oyamada Higashi Elementary School in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture visited USJC’s Mie plant for a　field trip. The plant is located in Kuwana City.
On the day, the students enjoyed learning about semiconductors and the work of employees at the plant through quizzes and other activities. Teachers commented that the field trip was very meaningful.
In order to develop the next generation of high performing talent in the semiconductor industry, we will continue aiming for “Better coexistence with local communities”　and promote efforts to deepen interest in and understanding of semiconductors.
