On July 10th, a preparatory study session was held at Mie Prefectural Kuwana High School for 20 second-year students who will participate in a summer program hosted by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan this August.

Participation in this program is part of Kuwana City’s “Global Youth Empowerment Program” initiative, and our company is involved as a sponsoring partner.

During the session, Professor Miyake from Mie University delivered a lecture on “Industries and Semiconductors in Mie Prefecture.” This was followed by USJC’s lecture on “Semiconductor Foundries” and a Chinese language class. Both students and teachers who attended gave us very positive feedback.

We hope that the knowledge gained from this preparatory session will be of great benefit to the students during their participation in the summer program.
